Me and my "boyfriend" Josh!

The story behind our "relationship"...
I promised my girls (Don't worry, they're not mine! I watch four of the older kids in my mom's daycare after school!) that if the weather permit it, I would take them to the park everyday until the end of the summer approached. So when we were there on Monday I was sitting quietly while reading my book...oh I mean watching the kids (lol) and Josh came over to talk to me. He plays basketball there everyday after school as well, but I hadn't spoken to him the whole time we were there for I didn't want to intrude on his boy time. When he came to talk to me the girls started giggling and laughing like crazy, so he kept trying to figure out what the meaning was behind it. Knowing what the deal was, I told him not to mind them.
Then one of my girls yells "KATIE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND!!!" as loud as she possibly could! Then all the girls went berserk and went running around the jungle gym screaming at the top of their lungs that I, Katelyn Gudim, had a boyfriend! HA! Josh was just eating it all up, enjoying every bit of this to the full extent! While I was blushing to my little hearts limits and under extreme embarrassment!
I finally got them to start leaving, but just when we reached the road Josh yelled "Sweetheart! Your girls forgot something!" Then, completely mortified, I turned around and all the boys were screaming the exact thing! This of course included Josh himself! The girls were fanatical and chanted that very saying all the way home, and told everyone they saw as well, mind you.
Now, as foolish as I was to think this would just blow over, everyone at school soon found out and our "relationship" had spread to the entire 8th grade student body, and also the teachers! By second hour people were planning our wedding!!! It's INSANE! But to make matters worse, Josh just has to call me the sweetest of endearments, such as sweetie-pie, hunny, darling, and his number one favorite...hunny bunches of oats! What am I to say when an amazing guy like him calls me the very sweetest of sweetness this world could know?! I'm overwhelmed by the attention he gives me, it's breath-taking!
My girls are just loving this all to pieces. Yesterday they wrote him a note, oh I mean I wrote him a note telling him how much I loved him and couldn't wait to see him again! Then on the way home yesterday one of the girls asked her sister "Hey Kacey, when do you think they'll have their first baby?" When I heard this my mouth litterally dropped! But I didn't say anything for I wanted to see what she would reply. Miss Kacey said "Oh I don't know, probably when she's 25. I bet they'll get married when they're 24." I could hold it no longer, I burst into laugher; it's so hilarious! Posted by Picasa
